The Love Guru TANKS at the box office in its opening weekend–partially restoring my faith in the American, movie-going public. Any newfound goodwill is surely to be destroyed by the impending success of Hancock next week.

Last night on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart did a piece on the Cindy McCain recipe controversy. He showed a cable news clip where the lively anchor coined it “Cindy’s Cookie Caper!” Stewart, in response:
A Cookie Caper?!? Noooo!! That’s a gateway crime to Hamburglery!
Maybe this educational video could scare Cindy straight:
