Political strategist Robert Creamer lists the 10 reasons Obama beat Hillary. He says, “The very idea of a first-term African American senator with a name like Barack Obama defeating the vaunted Clinton machine seemed preposterous.” But lightning struck…He expands on each point in his piece, but here are the 10:

1. Obama is an Extraordinary Candidate
He pulls it all together at the end with “While the Clintons represented the Bridge to the 21st Century, Obama is the 21st century.” This is, I believe, Obama’s biggest strength and it ran through every aspect of his campaign. If Howard Dean’s internet efforts in 2004 were the Bridge to the 21st Century, the Obama Campaign’s sheer command of the internet IS the 21st Century. If Hillary Clinton’s Experience could have bridged us from Bush to the 21st Century - Obama’s message of Change and Hope will leave Bush in the dust.

Someone should tell this to Obama: Remember man that thou art dust, and unto dust thou shalt return.
He needs to deflate that ever-growing ego. I hope he’ll change.

I would challenge you to name a politician without an ego.
Not sure who you support - but of all of the egos in left in the running, I would dare to say that Obama’s is the smallest by a mile.

All politicians have big egos, and I don’t think that is a bad thing necessarily. I can’t name one, because you can’t be in that profession and not have an ego. It’s like ambition or drive. People can have these and they are healthy or they can go over the top. Right now I think Obama is getting over the top, maybe too impressed with himself. That’s just my personal opinion. He needs to come back down to earth a little. I don’t think John McCain has a huge ego. He’s not my candidate.
All this talk about Obama IS the 21st century is actually bad, because it goes to his head. It’s 2008. The 21st century has many years to go.
